Rules of the House

  • Kittens and cats are mutually selected by cat parents based on their preferences, research and assistance from Cat Shack.
  • Cat parents must be of the age 18 and above to be taking the responsibility of the cat or kitten.
  • Cat shack doesn’t encourage excessive breeding or reselling of kittens or cats hence doesn’t entertain breeders or resellers.
  • Cat shack demands a cage-less free and protected, cared for environment for the fluff from the cat parents.
  • A vet visit for the general well being of the kitten or cat is recommended after the arrival and once in every two months.
  • Any representative of Cat Shack doesn’t possess medical expertise. Friendly recommendations can be made based on prior experiences, to help and ease the process of raising the fluff together. However, a vet confirmation is mandatory.
  • Cat Shack doesn’t hand over a fluff who is either entirely or partially dependent on the mother or the team unless we are confident enough of the survival and wellbeing in the absence of the mother and the team.
  • Once the kitten or cat has been handed over to the cat parents, Cat shack holds no responsibility for the kitten’s health post 24 hours after the delivery.
  • A token amount has to be paid for the desired fluff to confirm the booking.
  • Cat Shack recommends the cat parents to stay in touch with the team for any further assistance.
  • Cat Shack can not/doesn’t take responsibility for a life as it is practically unattainable after the cat or kitten has been handed over to the cat parents.
  • The booking amount paid would be non-refundable in case of cancellation from the cat parents’ side.
  • Cat shack holds the right to cancel the booking if the would-be cat parent portrays any kind of irresponsibility or lack of concern towards the fluff. In such scenarios, the booking amount stands nonrefundable.
  • Cat Shack has no return or exchange services offered.
  • Individuals with fur allergies, history of asthma, travel concerns and work restrictions may take the fluff at their own risk.
  • Cat shack recommends taking the consent of all the family members before making the big decision to ensure a smoother transition of the cat/kitten from one house to another.
  • Would be cat parents who are also existing dog parents must allow required time for the pets to get comfortable with each other and not rush them into the same
  • Existing dog parents have to confirm that the dog is of no harm to the kitten/cat and is not aggressive. If found, Cat Shack holds the right to cancel the booking that is non refundable.
  • This holds assurance that cat parents would not abandon or ‘ll treat the kitten or cat for any reason which may come by ever in future.
  • Cat shack is not responsible nor legally liable for the loss of a life after 24 hours from the delivery.
  • The cat or kitten should be an added member of the cat parents family.
  • Necessary precautionary measures are mandatory to be taken by the cat parents for the safety of the fluff.
-Regular sanitization of once self (hands and clothes) before physically interacting with the fluff.
-Regular bath based on the age of the kitten/cat
-Washing and sanitizing the fluffs belongings at regular intervals.
  • Cat Shack can not be held liable for congenital/genetic diseases.
  • Cat/kitten should not  be put under the condition of complete isolation or strict training by cat parents leading to depression and anxiety at any time ever in future.
  • Regular grooming is highly recommended.
